Two green spaces in the Island's capital are being awarded for their environmental excellence.
Noble's Park and Marine Gardens on Loch Promenade in Douglas have won green flags for their sustainability, safety and cleanliness.
The annual Green Flag Award scheme launched in 1996 and is run by environmental charity Keep Britain Tidy.

The green flag scheme is the benchmark national standard for parks and green spaces across the British Isles, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
Douglas is now the Island's first local authority to be recognised by charity for the quality of its green spaces.
The council applied for consideration in February and judges from the UK and Holland visited the sites in May.
Council leader David Christian says he's confident in 2014 they'll raise standards even further and be awarded more Green Flags.
