Tynwald approves £3.5million spend
The Department of Infrastructure has been given the go-ahead to buy land in Liverpool to build a new passenger boat terminal.
It came as members spent more than four hours debating a wide-ranging motion on sea services, much of it to do with what should be looked for in and asked of an operator.
The nod was given to spend £3.5 million on a site at Princes Half-Tide Dock, subject to the approval of appropriate planning permission being granted.
