Longest-serving Lord of Mann today
Lieutenant Governor Adam Wood is sending greetings from the Island to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second on the day she becomes the longest-reigning British monarch.
Mr Wood acts as the Queen's representative on the Isle of Man and says she has served the public over the past sixty-three years without fuss and with great devotion.
On the day she reaches the milestone and succeeds her Queen Victoria as the longest reigning monarch, Adam Wood says it's worth remembering Queen Elizabeth came to the throne at just 25 years old:
