Laxey-based MMD Group behind project work
The process to bring the Groudle water wheel back to life has begun.
Phase one of the restoration work is now complete, according to the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture.
Laxey-based company MMD Group has been tasked with the project, which has so far seen the demolition of the historic wheelhouse, and removal of the waterwheel for refurbishment.
The department says the work has also been supported by other local contractors, and Onchan Commissioners.
MMD has produced a video which shows the work which has been done so far.
