Ground's expected to break on a new cancer centre for the Island next week.
Mannin Cancers Support Group raised the £2 million for the facility, to be built on the grounds of Noble's Hospital, but has criticised the amount of time it's taken to get government clearance.
It had been hoped work on the state-of-the-art centre would start six months ago.
But speaking to Manx Radio, Manx Care's CEO Teresa Cope says work could start as early as next week:
