Organisers say there is too much uncertainty around pandemic
The Manx Music, Speech and Dance Festival has been cancelled for the second year in a row.
The guild had been scheduled to take place between 24 April and 1 May, but organisers say there is too much uncertainty surrounding Covid-19.
In a post on social media they explain adjudicators may be unable to travel from off island, and say competitors and teachers need clarity to 'avoid preparing in vain':
Organisers hope the festival will return in 2022, pandemic permitting.
