Chris Evans says press speculation untrue
TT ace Guy Martin has been ruled out of presenting Top Gear – by the BBC show’s presenter Chris Evans.
Guy, whose TV career has burgeoned since appearing in The Boat that Guy Built four years ago, had been hotly tipped as a Top Gear presenter following the departure of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May.
But this morning on his Radio 2 breakfast show, Chris Evans hit out at press reports that linked various celebrities to the show.
And one of the names he ruled out was Guy’s:
