Guy to tackle landspeed record
TT and MGP star Guy Martin’s revealed his latest challenge: to smash the landspeed world record with bike manufacturer Triumph.
Guy, who last week retained his Southern 100 solo title, will try to top the 376.363mph set in 2010 riding Triumph’s specially-built Rocket Streamliner.
The carbon and Kevlar machine is powered by two turbocharged engines which produce more than a thousand horsepower burning methanol fuel.
