Minister now keen to get work underway
The infrastructure minister is confident work can finally begin on the regeneration of Douglas promenade.
Earlier this week, Tynwald members voted in favour of retaining the full length of the historic horse tram service on a single line.
It could mean a loss of 91 car parking spaces on the promenade.
Ray Harmer is now keen for work to get started and doesn't believe another consultation is necessary:
