One home could become 16 new properties
One home could soon become 16 under plans by Hartford Homes to convert a disused site in Anagh Coar into a residential estate.
The property developer has lodged a planning application for Annacur House, a site off Farmhill Lane.
Under the plans, the existing house would be demolished to make way for an entirely new estate, consisting of 12 four-bed homes and four two-bed homes.
Only a quarter of the new properties will be classified as 'affordable', and parking will increase from two spaces to thirty six.
According to the developer, the land is already zoned for residential use and is in a 'sustainable' location, due its proximity to shops, parks and transport links.
Changes to the highway have also been planned to increase visibility and allow for refuse and delivery vehicles to turn.
