People making threats over 'what they wrongly believe happened in a school' says Gary Roberts
The chief constable has hit out at people making threats towards others over 'what they wrongly believe happened in a school'.
It follows concern over the reaction to the Relationships and Sexual Education Curriculum, with QEII High School sent 'demands for the arrest and execution of staff members' after inaccurate reports of a drag queen at the school.
Chief Constable Gary Roberts, in a Tweet, says 'however it is "justified" hatred is hatred'.
Never thought I would say this about the Isle of Man, but in such a tolerant, kind place why are people threatening others because of what they wrongly believe happened in a school? However it is “justified” hatred is hatred.

Meanwhile, the Manx Labour Party has called for institutions to 'combat hatred aimed towards the LGBT community' due to what it calls 'a time of rising tension and misinformation'.
