Advice on how to get out of house quickly in case of emergency
People are being encouraged to have a bedtime routine to protect themselves in the event of a fire.
The Island's Fire and Rescue Service say they've attended a number of call outs due to electrical faults and unattended cooking.
Leading firefighter Richard Little says there are small things people can do before bed that will help to get out of the home quicker in case of an emergency:
