Concerned over issues facing the city
One of Peel’s newest commissioners is also one of its most experienced – last night saw Hazel Hannan return to politics.
Mrs Hannan has been on the board before, and was the town’s MHK for 20 years before losing to Tim Crookall in the 2006 general election.
She says she’s been driven to get involved again because of the serious issues facing Sunset City – including infrastructure, sewerage and housing.
Mrs Hannan says the roles of local and national politicians are worlds apart:

Warning over flare disposal after amenity site fire
Suspended sentence for 56-year-old in cannabis supply case
Owner of a block of flats fined for failing to meet fire safety regulations
Review of taxi fares extended to assess impact of Middle East conflict
