Peel Clothworkers acted as western hub while schools were shut
A local primary school headteacher has been reflecting on the challenges of lockdown.
Anna Jackson from Peel Clothworkers was in charge of the western hub for the 13 weeks that schools were shut.
They started off with 20 pupils, but by the end of lockdown there were more than 130 with only eight children allowed in each classroom to comply with social distancing regulations.
Mrs Jackson has praised her staff for their commitment and flexibility as they took on a number of roles:
