The education minister says her department is aware of the concerns raised about headteachers being in charge of more than one school but is confident it's the right decision.
Julie Edge was responding to a Tynwald question from Douglas North MHK, David Ashford.
She said Adrian Shorthouse - who is now in charge of Kewaigue and Scoill yn Jubilee and Max Kelly, who's the head of Dhoon, Laxey and Willaston - were qualified and experienced.
She also shut down speculation that their appointments were made as a cost saving measure:
