In September, residents across the Island will be taking to their voting districts to decide who they'd like to represent them in the new administration.
Those wanting to throw their names in the hat have until 26 August to do so.
Each week Manx Radio will be speaking to residents from each voting district to see what they feel are most needed in the area and this week, Chanelle's in Ayre and Michael:
