Five year strategy outlined
The future of cancer services in the Isle of Man will be spelled out at a pubic meeting in Douglas this evening (25 July).
Chief executive at the Department of Health and Social Care Malcolm Couch is to speak at the 'Meet the Consultant' event.
Although not a medic, he will explain what is planned for the treatment and care of cancer sufferers, in the government's five year health strategy.
The public open forum will see Dr Couch follow his presentation by taking questions from the floor.
He says the NHS needs to better help people 'navigate' cancer services:
