MHK wants new regulations altering regulatory body's remit to be annulled
There needs to be proper consultation before changes to the remit of a committee that oversees healthcare on the Island are brought in.
That's from an MHK who'll be asking for the recently-published new regulations for the Health Services Consultative Committee to be annulled when Tynwald sits this week.
The changes, which were laid before Tynwald last month, include removing the need for the body to produce a report to Tynwald, and reducing the maximum term a member can serve on the committee.
