The new health minister says she entered politics to make a 'positive difference' and is prepared to face the challenges of leading her department.
Claire Christian was appointed to the Council of Ministers just over a week ago, and has outlined her priorities as maintaining service levels, ensuring value for money, and driving efficiencies across the health body.
Despite supporting a no-confidence vote against the Chief Minister less than two months ago, Ms Christian says joining his administration gives her greater influence over major policy decisions.
