Not enough funding for everything - Quayle
The health and social care minister has seemingly conceded not enough is being done to help ME sufferers in the Isle of Man.
Howard Quayle has responded to comments from eminent British physician Dr Charles Shepherd, who was on the Island at the end of last week.
Dr Shepherd, the medical advisor to the British ME Association, said misdiagnosis or late diagnosis and a lack of effective on-Island support was hindering sufferers and made it an unncecessarily expensive problem.
Mr Quayle says the size of the Island means not every condition can be dealt with effectively:
Isle of Man inflation eases slightly to 2.8% in October
Progress on autism strategy welcomed
Paper car tax discs cost DOI £7,500 each month
Just over half the vehicles examined were defective
