A rise in the number of cases could be down to Manx Care calculations
New data retrieved from a Freedom of Information request show the number of patients being admitted to hospital for cancer treatment has surged between 2019 and 2021.
Malcom Clague from the Isle of Man Anti-Cancer Association believes the rise could be down to Manx Care calculating figures in a different way and distortions from the pandemic.
But Health Minister Lawrie Hooper is urging cancer patients not to put off seeking treatment:
