DHSC projected to be £5.4m over budget for 2019-20 financial year
The health minister says he'll have to ask Tynwald for additional funds next month after an overspend within his department.
Figures published at this month's sitting show the Department of Health and Social Care is projected to be £5.4m over budget by the end of the current financial year.
David Ashford has confirmed he'll be seeking a supplementary vote in January, although the figure required has not yet been finalised.
He insists work to prevent this happening again is underway, but will take time:
Contractors to start installing 20mph signs in Douglas and Onchan
Road closures in place following incident in Hillberry area
Accessible bus stops rolled out across Bus Vannin network
£1 million National AI Office launched to coordinate artificial intelligence policy and adoption
