Callister reacts to prescription increases
The Department of Health needs to run within budget.
That's the view of Onchan MHK Rob Callister following the announcement of a consultation which proposes increases to prescriptions and dental care - and an end to free yearly eye tests.
Mr Callister, who resigned from the department in March, broadly supports the proposals - as long as the vulnerable are protected.
But he says the Minister Kate Beecroft has to convince the Manx public over the next month:-
Child benefit payments delayed due to technical issue
Manx Care says it is 'doing a lot of work' to tackle concerns raised by doctors
New elective surgical unit will be 'nice controlled environment'
Manx dancer, teacher and festival organiser 'in awe' at RBV win
