Minister insists improvements need to be made
An £11.1 million overspend by the health department is to be investigated by Tynwald's public accounts committee.
Tynwald last month approved the move with Health Minister Kate Beecroft insisting the department needed to be more ‘financially prudent’ and make improvements.
The overspend which centres largely on Noble's Hospital will now be examined by the spending watchdog.
Written submissions from anybody with views on the services should be sent to the clerk of Tynwald’s office by Friday – February the 17th.
