Christian Aid Week 2018 launched
Women in one of the world's most poverty-stricken countries could benefit from a fundraising drive in the Isle of Man.
This year's Christian Aid Week (13 - 19 May) aims to raise thirty-thousand pounds to help those living in remote villages in Burundi.
In collaboration with a local firm, the charity will be producing health promotion DVDs in the local language, which will be distributed along with equipment to play them on.
Isle of Man Christian Aid Coordinator Louise Whitelegg says the message can then be taken out into the local community.
And you can find out more about the events taking place around the Island in support of this year's Christian Aid Week, which runs between the 13th and the 19th of May, by visiting the Christian Aid Isle of Man Facebook page.
