Awards took place last weekend
Real life heroes don't need capes, x-ray vision or super-strength to do great deeds - they're all around us gifting simple acts of kindness.
So say organisers of the Manx Radio Heroes in the Community Awards who rolled out the red carpet on Saturday night to salute our finest residents in a fundraiser for the Dreamcatcher charity.
It took place at the Empress Hotel in Douglas, with 10 awards handed to exceptional people.
