Refurb completed ahead of border reopening
Heysham ferry terminal has been given a face lift.
Refurbishment works have been completed at the Steam Packet's base at the Lancashire port.
New floors and ceilings have been installed in the terminal building, and its walls have been decorated with artwork.
Improved seating has been installed in the cafe area, which also has a new air conditioning system, and vending machine facilities.
The works have been completed now in anticipation of passenger numbers increasing as the Island's borders reopen.
Steam Packet CEO Mark Woodward said the renovation has been 'on the radar for some time' and hopes the works will 'make it much more comfortable for those waiting to board'.
