TT lap record holder gives update on injuries sustained at this year's event
TT lap record holder Peter Hickman will undergo surgery to tackle a nerve issue that's affecting his right arm eight weeks after crashing during this year's TT qualifying.
The 14-time race winner suffered a number of broken bones after coming off his bike at Kerrowmoar at the end of practice week.
In a video on his social media pages, Hickman confirmed his fractures are healing well, but severe nerve damage means he currently can't lift his right arm well.
He says lots of supporters have been asking when he'll be riding again:

Consultation open on plans to formally recognise the heritage of Douglas Head
Drop-in session to support Isle of Man charities
Fundraiser to keep St John Ambulance emergency fleet on the road
Ayre and Michael MHKs request meeting with commissioners over rates
Data breach impact rises sharply as cyber incidents affect thousands on Isle of Man
