KPMG offers thoughts on VAT
Manx residents could pay more VAT when Brexit is triggered.
That's according to the tax director at KPMG Isle of Man - who says when you buy online, it's possible there could soon be an extra hidden cost.
If goods aren't shipped domestically, or within a single customs union - like the EU - customers are liable to pay separate inbound taxes and duties.
UK Prime Minister Theresa May has promised the Isle of Man will be kept informed and contribute to 'leave' discussions, where relevant.
