
A world-famous actress has thanked the Isle of Man for its generosity helping a UN aid agency in Africa.
In June, the Island’s overseas aid committee sent £20,000 to a health charity working in Chad to provide emergency services for those hit by a food crisis.
Now, Keira Knightley – star of Pirates of the Caribbean, Love Actually and Pride & Prejudice - has sent a video message to the Island.
In it, she thanks people for their generosity helping UNICEF which is working in the country:
