The roll-out of fibre optic technology will mean faster internet access for many users on the Island.
Small roadside "exchanges" have been appearing in parts of the Island as Manx Telecom continues with its programme of extending access to high speed broadband.
The programme was launched around a year ago, and as MT Marketing Director David Smith explains, their aim is to cover as much of the Island as possible:
