Cregneash events well underway
People have been turning up for turnips in big numbers at Cregneash this year according to organisers of the popular annual event.
Preparations for Hop-Tu-Naa are now well underway in the village, with staff laying on a raft of festive activities across the week, from lantern carving to singing traditional songs.
The celebrations will culminate on Sunday (31 Oct), with live music, dancing, storytelling and a grand turnip lantern parade all planned.
