This evening's 7.45pm sailing of the Ben my Chree to Heysham has been cancelled due to the high winds in the Irish Sea.
It means of course there's no return crossing at 2.15am.
A decision on tomorrow morning's 8.45am crossing and its return will be made at 7am tomorrow.
It means the papers tomorrow (Fri) will be flown in and will be around three hours late in shops.
The Island's bracing itself to take another battering from strong winds up to severe gale force from early tomorrow morning (Fri 3rd), with damage and disruption likely.
There's a warning to households around the southern coastline, as gusts of up to 70 miles per hour combined with a high tide around midday, are set to cause flooding.
According to the Met Office, waves breaking over coastal roads and seafronts will create hazardous conditions as debris is thrown ashore.
Some waves are likely to break onto exposed seafronts around times of high tide with minor flooding possible in Douglas and the south of the Island.
As of 5pm today (Thurs) the Floodwatch site of the Isle of Man government was warning of possible flooding at high tide tonight around ten minutres past midnight and more so tomorrow afternoon at 12.30pm. Areas of particular concern are shown as Ramsey, Laxey and Douglas on the east coast, Derby Haven, Castletown, Carrick Bay, Port St Mary and Port Erin in the south and Peel in the west.
