Hot work precautions not observed at unit
Fire crews were called to an incident at Hills Meadow Industrial Estate this lunchtime (Thurs)
The call out came after reports of structure fire at metal fabrication industrial unit that was being renovated.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the blaze and used thermal imaging cameras to check for hot spots.
Officers say the fire was caused by hot work precautions not being fully implemented.
