Hundreds of queries in past year to Minister
Hold us to account – but ease up on the questions!
That’s the plea from the Treasury Minister to backbenchers.
Eddie Teare says over the past year members have tabled 262 political questions to him, nearly 200 of them have come from just three MHKs.
Mr Teare says questions are a valued part of the democratic process but often a personal approach can save a lot of time and lead to a quicker answer:
