Douglas woman says it's a really important day to remember
A Douglas woman is urging people not to forget to mark Holocaust Memorial Day today, even in lockdown.
This year's on-Island memorial service, which normally takes place on the closest Sunday to the 27 January, had to be cancelled due to the circuit breaker restrictions.
"It's so important that people remember and learn from the past, if we don't it's bound to repeat itself."
Ros Dobson from IOM Friends of Israel says HMD remains a really important day to remember.
