
The Island's National Holocaust memorial service takes place at St George's Church in Douglas this afternoon.
It's at 3pm and is open to all.
This year's theme, which is the same for all services across the British Isles, is "Journeys".
The Venerable Andrew Brown, Archdeacon of Man, says remembering what happened is still highly relevant today and vital if mankind is to learn from its mistakes:
