Remanded in custody until next court appearance
A homeless man has been remanded in custody after an alleged assault.
Thirty-seven-year-old Devis Battista of no fixed abode appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas courthouse via a live video link from the Isle of Man Prison.
He denies a single count of assault on 6 August.
Mrs Hughes remanded Mr Battista in custody, and he’s next due to appear in court on 28 October.
