Registration ensures public liability cover
Homestay operators for the TT and Festival of Motorcycling are reminded to check their registration details are in date.
Doing so ensures access to the Department for Enterprise's public liability insurance.
In short, that means if a visitor is injured and claims the homestay provider was negligent, the department will respond and deal with any claims.
Homeowners taking part in the scheme are also reminded that they must register with MiQuando if they wish to host paying visitors.
Should you wish to check if your registration is valid, please contact MiQuando on 01624 640393 or info@iomhomestay.com.
Hosts can also check registration details using the 'property checker' tool online, at www.iomhomestay.com.
