Aileen Gelling was awarded an MBE
An Island woman's spoken of her shock at being awarded an MBE.
Aileen Gelling has served the Isle of Man Prison's independent monitoring board for more than 15 years.
She was one of three Islanders named in the Queen's New Year honours list.
