Social concerns raised for rural customers
Post Office counter services and pension collections will be under the political spotlight in the House of Keys tomorrow (Tuesday).
Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper is asking the Treasury Minister about his plans to help pensioners collect money via card or cash if services are withdrawn from post office locations.
He says he asked the same question during the recent Tynwald debate but didn't get an answer.
Mr Hooper is concerned financial decisions could have social impacts:-
