DHSC minister 'sad' to see CEO walk
The health and social care minister has admitted it's 'unusual' to have so many key people walk away from government at the same time.
Yesterday (24 May) it was announced Lawrie Hooper's chief executive, Karen Malone, had resigned from her post and left government with immediate effect.
Her departure follows the resignation of former DHSC minister David Ashford from his treasury post and the immediate retirement of chief secretary Will Greenhow.
Yesterday, Clare Conie the executive director of the Office of Human Resources, also left with immediate effect.
