Busy day for the Island's fire crews
A horse had to be rescued after falling into a ditch in the north of the Island earlier.
The emergency services were called out to help the animal in Sulby at around 11.20am, where the owner and a vet were also present as they recovered the horse to solid ground.
It happened just hours after fire crews in Douglas were attending to a chimney fire on Head Road.
Isle of Man Fire and Rescue say the blaze was well established by the time officers arrived at the scene, as they were present for just over an hour extinguishing the fire.
