Countryfile explores the Manx heritage transport
The Douglas Bay Horse Trams will make an appearance tonight (26 Feb) on prime-time UK television.
From 7pm on BBC One's program Countryfile, presenter Joe Crowley discovers the operation and history of our heritage horse-led transport.
He was given a tour of Strathallan Crescent, and took a ride in a tramcar along the promenade.
Mr Crowley also spoke to Stuart Mullan from the Friends of Douglas Bay Horse Tramway, and Director of Transport Services Ian Longworth on the future of the services.
