Chairman hopeful for future
Good relationships 'can be restored' following the endoscopy services fallout at Ramsey Cottage Hospital.
That's the belief of the Chairman of the League of Friends of RCH, Leonard Singer.
The former MHK was speaking after giving evidence to a Tynwald scrutiny committee on Thursday.
The Hospital's Friends and Trustees have expressed upset at the recent move of endoscopy services to Noble's Hospital in Braddan - despite them having raised money to purchase the equipment.
Mr Singer says he still hopes the equipment can be restored to Ramsey.
A meeting is taking place with Minister Kate Beecroft and Chief Executive of the Department, Malcolm Couch, on 11 July.
Mr Singer has also demanded a letter of comfort from the Department of Health and Social Care, making the situation clear.
