Minister confident in long-term solution
Vacancies and staff absences mean a ward at Noble's Hospital is short-staffed by seven nurses.
But in Tynwald this morning, Health and Social Care Minister Howard Quayle said patient safety is still a top priority.
He faced questions about the problems facing Ward 5 from North Douglas MHK John Houghton.
Mr Quayle said bank staff are covering in the short term, but the situation is about to improve:

Some pubs to stay open for early-hours England match
Tynwald to revisit rates bill after the election
Douglas Council to install temporary play area in Marine Gardens
