Quayle admits staff demand is exceeding supply
Visiting workers in the Island hospitality sector will not be disadvantaged nor exploited, the Chief Minister has insisted.
Howard Quayle admits demand for staff is outstripping potential supply after government last week introduced a temporary work permit exemption to ease shortages.
But he has rubbished suggestions from a union head that they may face poorer conditions and salaries than locals.
Mr Quayle says the Island simply has to be competitive across the board.
