Temperatures of 22°C expected on Saturday
Parish Walkers are facing the possibility of hot and humid conditions as well as a risk of some heavy showers during this year's event.
Registration for Saturday's race opens at the NSC this evening; those taking part in this year's walk must sign on between 5.30pm and 7.30pm either today or tomorrow.
Organisers often suggest the best conditions for the Parish Walk are neither too hot nor too cold, and without blistering sunshine or heavy rain.
But Senior Meteorological Officer at Ronaldsway Met Office Kirsty Pendlebury warns the forecast suggest the conditions could be uncomfortable:
The event gets underway at the NSC at 8am on Saturday.
