Blaze spotted by off-duty police officer
Fire engines were called to a blaze at a house in Braddan overnight.
The fire was spotted by an off-duty police officer who rang 999 and stayed with the owner until crews arrived.
Shortly after midnight teams from Douglas Fire Station arrived and extinguished the fire.
The house owner was treated by paramedics.
