Motorists damaging historic building
Does the House of Keys need protecting from cars? It does in the south of the Island, according to new plans.
Manx National Heritage has applied for planning permission to put a protective metal plate on the Old House of Keys in Castletown.
The organisation says the plate on the western corner of the building is needed because motorists are damaging the historic building as they drive through a narrow entrance to the car park behind the building.
